So for the last 2 weeks or so here in South FL, it's been raining every day rather heavily. Hadn't been able to wash the car, let alone wax it, for a decent while as result. Weather was finally great today so I took the opportunity to was and seal it with Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. Sure enough - it rained about 2 hours after I finished haha. Oh well, at least it's got a good layer of protection again! Was a good opportunity to test out my iPhone 6 camera too =) Here are some pics!

Haha not actually HDRs believe it or not! Did process them through SnapSeed to accentuate some tones and add some punch overall.

It's been an absolute joy. Have wanted a GTI for many many years and finally had the means to do it. Was fortunate to get one of the first Mk7s in North America in early June and have enjoyed every second of it so far.

Beautiful both inside and out (I'll have to add an interior shot in the morning), tons of torque and power, and really impressive fuel economy in daily driving/commuting (28-32mpg on average to work and back.). Handles really well and the ride is nicely balanced between sportiness and livability. All in all a great package and jack of all trades.

As I expected and was hoping for! I'm moving up from a '10 Golf whenever the deposit + amount owing reaches a reasonable number so hopefully that's next spring. Been looking forward to it for a while and would be in a new one already if this hadn't happened .
